Detection and Estimation with Compressive Measurements
The recently introduced theory of compressed sensing enables the reconstruction of sparse or compressible signals from a small set of nonadaptive, linear measurements. If properly chosen, the number of measurements can be much smaller than the number of Nyquist rate samples. Interestingly, it has been shown that random projections are a satisfactory measurement scheme. This has inspired the des...
متن کاملOptical compressive change and motion detection.
Localization information of moving and changing objects, as commonly extracted from video sequences, is typically very sparse with respect to the full data frames, thus fulfilling one of the basic conditions of compressive sensing theory. Motivated by this observation, we developed an optical compressive change and motion-sensing technique that detects the location of moving objects by using a ...
متن کاملSupport Detection for SAR Tomographic Reconstructions from Compressive Measurements
The problem of detecting and locating multiple scatterers in multibaseline Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) tomography, starting from compressive measurements and applying support detection techniques, is addressed. Different approaches based on the detection of the support set of the unknown sparse vector, that is, of the position of the nonzero elements in the unknown sparse vector, are analyze...
متن کاملCompressive video sensing with limited measurements
Compressive sensing (CS) is an innovative technology, allowing us to capture signals with significantly fewer samples than those required by classical Nyquist theory. We propose a novel adaptive video compressive sensing algorithm to exploit the potential of CS in video acquisition. Each frame is divided into blocks to take advantage of its inhomogeneity. We first classify the blocks into one o...
متن کاملAdaptive compressive noncoherent change detection: An AMP-based approach
We propose a turbo approximate message passing (AMP) algorithm to detect spatially clustered changes in signal magnitude, relative to a reference signal, from compressive linear measurements. We then show how the Gaussian posterior approximations generated by this scheme can be used for mutual-information based measurement kernel adaptation. Numerical simulations show excellent performance.
